👋 Hey there! I’m Molly Blair!
After several years of study and practice in technical communication and social media, I have decided to pivot to a new adventure in clinical mental health counseling. The future is bright, and I am excited for this new journey.
So Why Counseling?
There’s two big reasons why I’m changing fields:
Ethics: Social media is a wonderful tool that allows people to connect beyond their immediate circles and feel less alone. But social media algorithms and strategies encourage you to engage with the website for as long as possible: even to the detriment of your own health. I want to participate in a person-first field that sees individuals as people - not users or customers - and uses individualized modalities to achieve joyful living.
Empathy: Everyone has unique life circumstances, yet our shared experiences are what gives us hope and a sense of community. I want to be an advocate, a listening ear, and a rock to those who struggle and let people know they’re not alone and can overcome even the most daunting challenges.

I’m a total geek for anime and manga, Dungeons & Dragons, and the occasional video game. My other favorite pastimes include drawing, needle felting, and starting DIY projects that I never finish. I also have a passion for organization, skincare, and delicious food.

I’m a cat mom of a bonded pair of beautiful boys: Marvin (a brown tabby) and Yuri (a white and gray Siberian). You can find photos of my cats on my Instagram.
